Draft for counsel review. This page describes Tripmunk’s current product and intended practices, but it is not approved for a store submission yet.

Share places without putting people at risk

Tripmunk is for saving places, sharing collections, posting travel experiences, and planning with people you trust. Ordinary travel and family photos, including lawful photos that contain children, are allowed. A child’s presence is not itself a safety violation.

Child sexual abuse and exploitation

Tripmunk prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation, child sexual abuse material, grooming, sextortion, sexualization of children, trafficking of children for sex, and content or conduct that facilitates or glorifies that harm.

Do not upload, request, save, share, link to, or offer to exchange this material. Do not attach suspected illegal imagery to a support email or download it in order to report it.

Sexual and non-consensual content

  • Do not share intimate or sexual content without the depicted person’s consent.
  • Do not threaten to share intimate material or use it to coerce someone.
  • Do not use Tripmunk primarily to publish pornography or solicit sexual services.

Violence, threats, and self-harm

  • Do not make credible threats, encourage violence, celebrate serious harm, or coordinate dangerous acts.
  • Do not encourage suicide or self-harm, target a vulnerable person, or interfere with an emergency response.
  • Tripmunk is not an emergency service. Contact local emergency services when someone may be in immediate danger.

Harassment, hate, and privacy

  • Do not bully, stalk, repeatedly target, or organize harassment against another person.
  • Do not attack or exclude people based on a protected characteristic.
  • Do not expose private information, precise private locations, credentials, or sensitive records without permission.

Authenticity and abuse

  • Do not impersonate another person or misrepresent an affiliation.
  • Do not run scams, spam people, manipulate engagement, or share malicious links.
  • Do not use Tripmunk to sell illegal goods, coordinate illegal activity, or evade another service’s safety controls.
  • Respect copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, and other intellectual-property rights.

Reporting and blocking

Signed-in users can report a profile, post, comment, trip, or collection from its menu. Reports are private. Reporting does not automatically remove content; you can separately hide supported content or block an account.

For a concern you cannot report in the app, use the Support page. Do not knowingly make false reports or coordinate report abuse.

What happens after a violation

Tripmunk may remove content, warn an account, restrict a capability, suspend an account, or permanently ban an account. The response depends on severity, context, history, risk, and legal obligations. Eligible decisions can be appealed from the Safety area in Settings.
