Draft for counsel review. This page describes Tripmunk’s current product and intended practices, but it is not approved for a store submission yet.
Tripmunk’s safety commitment
Tripmunk works to prevent its service from being used to harm people. The service combines audience controls, automated screening, private user reports, blocking, restricted moderator review, enforcement, and appeals.
Automated systems are not a guarantee. Reports are reviewed in context and higher-risk concerns are prioritized.
Standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation
Tripmunk prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation, including child sexual abuse material, grooming, sextortion, sexual trafficking of children, sexualization of children, and conduct that facilitates, requests, celebrates, or profits from those harms.
These rules apply to photos, generated imagery, captions, comments, profiles, links, collections, trips, and other activity on Tripmunk. Ordinary lawful family and travel photos may contain children; the presence of a child alone is not a violation.
Action on known CSAM
When Tripmunk obtains knowledge of apparent child sexual abuse material or related exploitation, it may restrict access, preserve relevant records, remove content, restrict or terminate accounts, and make reports required by applicable law. Access to high-severity evidence is limited to authorized people and is not placed in ordinary email or notification previews.
Tripmunk’s detailed evidence-handling and CyberTipline procedure is restricted to trained operators and remains subject to counsel approval.
Report a child-safety concern
Use the report action on the relevant profile, post, comment, trip, or collection when you can. If that is not possible, contact safety@tripmunk.app with the Tripmunk URL, username, and a description of the concern.
Do not download, copy, attach, or email suspected illegal imagery. Preserve the page URL and let trained reviewers handle the content.
Child-safety contact
Tripmunk’s public child-safety contact is safety@tripmunk.app. A named individual who is ready to discuss Tripmunk’s CSAM prevention and compliance practices must be designated privately in Google Play Console before submission.
Immediate danger
Tripmunk is not an emergency service. If a child or any other person may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. In the United States, reports can also be made to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children’s CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org or 1-800-THE-LOST.
